HOW TO GIVE...
Cash/Check/Credit Card:
A direct gift of cash, check or credit card (Visa,
MasterCard, Discover and American Express) is the most
common way to support Family Support Network. You
can always mail your donation to 7514 Big Bend Boulevard,
St. Louis, MO 63119 or call us at (314) 644-5055
ext. 104 or scamden(at)familysupportnet(dot)org
Recurring Gifts:
Some donors like to make a recurring monthly or
quarterly gifts. Many donors prefer the
convenience of automatically charging their credit card
for a specified amount on a specified date(s). If
you are interested in making a recurring donation of any
kind, please contact Stephanie Camden at 314-644-5055 ext.
104 or scamden(at)familysupportnet(dot)org
Wish List Donations:
Family Support Network has many items on its wish list
including gift cards for clients, diapers, smoke
detectors, and more. For a current agency Wish List,
contact Director of Development and Marketing Stephanie

Appreciated Stocks:
When you donate stock the IRS allows you to take a tax
deduction on the fair-market value of your gift, providing
you have held the stock for more than 12 months. Mutual
Funds may also be donated and are subject to the same
rules.
Matching Funds:
Many companies will match charitable contributions
made by their employees, a practice that magnifies the
value of individual contributions. Check with your Human
Resources office to see how you might leverage a larger
gift through your company's matching gift program.
Other Assets:
Real estate, artwork, insurance policies, automobiles,
boats, time-share units, and other tangible
goods can qualify as donations. Family Support Network will benefit by the
sale of such items while you enjoy a charitable deduction
without paying capital gains.
Please note that we do not have a way of picking up or
storing large-sized donations.
Pro-Bono Services:
Lawyers, doctors, accountants and others often donate
valuable services to nonprofit organizations. Your time,
like that of other volunteers, is not tax-deductible, but
your expenses, including mileage allowances, are
tax-deductible.
Charitable Remainder Trust:
A charitable remainder trust is perfect for the donor who
wants a guaranteed income stream each and every year.
Regardless of the performance of the trust, the income is
paid each year without change. Upon your death (or the
death of your heir) the remainder of the trust’s assets is
distributed to Family Support Network. Please see the
information below about our Legacy Society.
Wills/Trusts:
This legal document enables you to make charitable
bequests as you plan for the disposal of your assets after
your death. Please consider naming Family Support Network
in your will or trust.
Insurance:
Family Support Network may be named as sole or partial beneficiaries on
your life insurance policies. It may also be named as
owner of a policy, which allows you to deduct your
premiums. Potentially, this tool could cost very little to
give Family Support Network a lot when you die.
Endowments:
Endowments are meant to sustain an organization for
the future not provide operating funds for the present.
The principal of an endowment remains intact and is
invested to earn interest for the endowed organization.
You can contribute to Family Support Network endowment or
set up your own endowment - typically with a significant
gift.
ANN CARTER STITH SOCIETY...
Family Support Network is proud to announce the
agency's new major giving society, the Ann Carter Stith
Society. Your gift of $1,000 or more establishes your
membership in this new society.
This Society is named after Ann
Carter Stith (1920-2005) who, as a compassionate community
volunteer, dedicated her life to helping those in the
greatest need, including the mentally ill and victims of
child abuse and neglect. Ann Carter Stith was a founding
member of the agency and served on the Board of Directors
for many years eventually becoming a life member.
To make your gift today to become
an Ann Carter Society member, please contact Stephanie
Camden, Director of Development and Marketing, at (314)

LEGACY SOCIETY...
Family Support Network is proud to announce the
Legacy Society that honors
individuals who include Family Support Network in their
estate plans. In order for a person to qualify as a member
of the Family Support Network Legacy Society, the donor has
chosen to pass along a gift in one or more of the
following ways:
The donor can choose to donate through a will or trust,
where he or she can plan a percentage of their estate, or
a set amount to be given to Family Support Network.
The donor can also use the gift of life insurance, in
which he or she re-designates the beneficiary of a life
insurance policy to Family Support Network.
Donors can also choose an outright gift of appreciated
assets, such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or real
estate that has gone up in value.
Lastly, if donors wish to donate at a later time, they can
give to Family Support Network while still drawing
significant guaranteed income for life, through a simple
charitable gift annuity.
