Community Education Outreach:
Family Support Network provides in-service education and training to community groups, agencies, and professionals on prevention, identification, and assessment of at-risk families. Family Support Network also provides education on a variety of parenting topics to assist professionals and communities to provide preventive and supportive services to families.


Speaker's Bureau:
Our Speaker’s Bureau enlists the expertise of our staff, Board, and volunteers on a variety of topics including:

• Health Issues
• Parenting Strategies
• Stress Management
• Skills Building
• Family Violence Prevention
• Family Communication
• Child Temperament
• Parenting a Difficult Child


Resource Fairs:
The Family Support Network actively seeks opportunities to participate in resource fairs. We believe our presence at events in both the business and social service communities increases awareness of child abuse and neglect prevention.


Referrals:
As part of the assessment process, families are given resource linkages to community resources that may provide services we do not offer.
